Anisha Jain Safaya
With over 25 years of experience in the dance industry, Anisha Jain Safaya is a versatile artist and the founder of the community and brand “Dance with Anisha,”established in Dubai in 2021. Her journey began at the age of 7 with Bharatnatyam, an Indian classical dance form. Over time, she explored Jazz and Funk, dedicating herself to training at Danceworx in New Delhi, India. By the age of 11, she was learning under Shiamak Davar’s Institute of Performing Arts, growing into a versatile teacher and sharing the stage with Bollywood celebrities such as Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai.
With two decades of experience, Anisha honed her skills as a choreographer, teacher, and director of music videos and stage shows in both India and Dubai. After a seven-year hiatus from dancing due to personal ventures, she reignited her passion in Dubai. In her quest to rediscover herself as a dancer, she earned a dance diploma from the Broadway Dance Center in New York. There, Cornelius Carter, the king of VOP Jazz and an award-winning professor, remarked that she experienced a rebirth when she returned to dancing after giving birth.
Her expertise spans multiple dance styles, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Street, Salsa, and more, and she has coached over 1,000 students throughout her career. As a performer—dancer, choreographer, actor, and model—she has choreographed for stage shows, music videos, and Bollywood productions. This includes work for Jassie Gill and Arabic singer Lamis Kan's song 'Motamakena,' which garnered 24 million views, and for Ghanum Bollywood in the movie "Billionaire," directed by Amer Al Murry. She has also starred as the lead actress in two recent music videos.

"Dance with Anisha" has expanded significantly, growing from just 4 students to the diverse group you see today, ranging in age from 4 to 70 years. Her teaching philosophy, "Dance from your heart," embodies her belief that true expression comes from an open heart. Anisha is dedicated to sharing her extensive experience with eager learners and viewers. Committed to growth and innovation in dance education, she continues to evolve as both a dancer and a teacher. Her expanding brand aims to bridge cultural gaps, inspire, and shape the next generation of performers.
